Pros and cons
deeLINE
Pros
- Free registration and browsing; premium for full access, so signing up and browsing cost nothing and a paid upgrade is a later step.
- Profiles are read by hand before they appear in search, and some carry the Real-Siegel mark (Manually reviewed profiles, Real-Siegel verified).
- Support covers email, phone and the community (email, phone and community), which goes beyond the email-only norm in this category.
Cons
- Paid time is sold as Prepaid access code (Vorkasse), non-transferable, so a code is tied to one account and cannot be handed on.
- Paid plans Auto-renews; cancel 7 days before in Mein Profil, so a subscription keeps running unless the end date is set in Mein Profil first.
- The audience is a German-speaking market (Adult niche dating, German-speaking market), so the pool stays local to that language and thinner from abroad.
Killing Kittens
Pros
- Every applicant is screened: Photo and ID required to apply.
- Cancelling is easy, at any time by email or by deleting your account.
- Discretion is a stated core value, and the service covers discreet, fetish and trans interests.
Cons
- Entry is gated, since Photo and ID required to apply is required before an account goes live.
- The audience is Women, trans and non-binary people, 21+, so anyone outside those groups meets a smaller pool.
- Support runs on email, chat and help centre only, with no phone line in the list.

Questions about each
deeLINE
What does it cost to use deeLINE?+
Registration and browsing are free, with premium reserved for full access (Free registration and browsing; premium for full access). Paid time is sold as Prepaid access code (Vorkasse), non-transferable. Across the sites compared here, entry prices run €7.02 to €20.65 a month, and the top of the range reaches €162.69.
How does cancellation work?+
Paid plans Auto-renews; cancel 7 days before in Mein Profil, so a subscription renews unless the end date is set in Mein Profil ahead of time. The notice sits inside the profile area rather than in a support reply, which is worth reading before a first purchase so the end date is in place early.
Killing Kittens
What plans does Killing Kittens sell?+
Killing Kittens sets its offer as membership tiers: Full (Kitten) or Guest membership, plus X-PLUS. Full (Kitten) is the full tier and Guest is the lighter entry, with X-PLUS as the add on. Access runs through an app, so the tiers sit on one account rather than across separate services.
Do I need to verify before I can use it?+
Yes, Photo and ID required to apply is the entry condition. An application needs a photo and ID before the account goes live, so screening happens at the door rather than after a complaint. It also narrows who you can browse alongside you, since only approved applicants get in.
