Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to join?+
Joining costs nothing: Free profile, browse, receive and send 1 message covers the free tier, and a paid plan is only needed once you want more than that allowance. Signing up and looking around therefore carries nothing to pay.
What are the paid membership options?+
The tier list is set out in Free; Platinum; VIP Membership $300 per 6 months, which names a free level, a Platinum level and a VIP Membership sold for a multi-month block. Compare that block with the free allowance in Free profile, browse, receive and send 1 message before you pay anything.
What happens if I do not cancel in time?+
Membership Auto-renews; cancel by site or email; no refunds, so the billing date is the one to watch. If you want to stop, the terms name both the site and email as routes to cancel. Set a reminder before the renewal date if a lapse would bother you.
Can I message people before paying?+
Only a limited amount. Free profile, browse, receive and send 1 message is what the free tier allows, and everything past that allowance sits with the paid membership described in Free; Platinum; VIP Membership $300 per 6 months. Budget for the tier before you expect replies to flow both ways.
How are profiles checked?+
Verification comes down to Free photo scanning; no background screening, so a scanned profile is a filtered one rather than a cleared one. Treat a checkmark accordingly and keep your own judgement when you move to a call or a meeting.
Is my identity visible to other members?+
Messaging runs on Double-blind anonymous messaging; identity withheld, so first contact can stay anonymous on both sides. That makes it easier to see who replies before you share personal details. It suits anyone who wants to test the waters before handing over contact information.
Is there an app or only the website?+
Yes: app is offered alongside the site, so mobile members are not tied to a browser window. Billing and plans stay the same either way, since the membership sits with the account rather than the device.
How do I get help if something goes wrong?+
Support runs on email, phone and help centre, so an account or billing question can go straight to a person. Its App Store rating stands at App Store (US) 4.2/5 from 24 ratings, which is worth reading before you commit to a paid tier.
