Pros and cons
Killing Kittens
Pros
- Every applicant is screened: Photo and ID required to apply.
- Cancelling is easy, at any time by email or by deleting your account.
- Discretion is a stated core value, and the service covers discreet, fetish and trans interests.
Cons
- Entry is gated, since Photo and ID required to apply is required before an account goes live.
- The audience is Women, trans and non-binary people, 21+, so anyone outside those groups meets a smaller pool.
- Support runs on email, chat and help centre only, with no phone line in the list.
POPpen.de
Pros
- Profiles, messages, chat and forum are free is unusually broad for a site that sells paid tiers: a profile, messages, chat and the forum cost nothing, so the service can be judged before any spend.
- Free authenticity check for contact offers a free authenticity check on contact, so a profile can be checked before time goes into a conversation.
- email, phone and help centre covers email, phone, a help centre and the community, which is more than a single mailbox.
Cons
- Data processed outside the EEA (Hong Kong) puts account data outside the European Economic Area, which matters for readers who expect European handling.
- 14-day withdrawal; auto-renews to term end means a plan renews on its own to the end of its term, so a cancellation made late still pays out the remainder.
- Points buy extras, no cash payout means extras are bought with points and points are not paid out in cash, so spending on visibility runs in one direction only.

Questions about each
Killing Kittens
What plans does Killing Kittens sell?+
Killing Kittens sets its offer as membership tiers: Full (Kitten) or Guest membership, plus X-PLUS. Full (Kitten) is the full tier and Guest is the lighter entry, with X-PLUS as the add on. Access runs through an app, so the tiers sit on one account rather than across separate services.
Do I need to verify before I can use it?+
Yes, Photo and ID required to apply is the entry condition. An application needs a photo and ID before the account goes live, so screening happens at the door rather than after a complaint. It also narrows who you can browse alongside you, since only approved applicants get in.
POPpen.de
Which plans are there, and what do points buy?+
Free, Premium, VIP, Commercial sets out a free tier beside Premium, VIP and Commercial. Points buy extras, no cash payout explains the rest: extras are bought with points, which are not paid out in cash. Start on the free tier and treat point purchases as optional.
What is free without paying anything?+
Profiles, messages, chat and forum are free is broad for a service that also sells paid tiers: a profile, messages, chat and the forum are all covered. Browsing and messaging can be used before any payment decision, so any paid level sits on top of a working free service.
