What is Headquarters?

Headquarters is the country where a site's head office sits, and it hints at which laws apply to your data and payments. A site registered in a single country may still place its support staff elsewhere, so the country alone does not settle a dispute. For example, AfricanCupid lists AU, and AfroIntroductions lists AU. Note the country when you query a charge.
