How Stripchat compares

Frequently asked questions

How much does Stripchat cost?+

There is no monthly fee to hold an account. Members pay for virtual currency instead: Prepaid virtual tokens, paid in advance, pay as you go. Packs are bought as they are needed, and No tiers; one-off token packs with optional auto-refill means there are no different tiers to weigh. What a member spends depends on how long chats run.

What do I get for free?+

The free part covers the account and the chat itself, plus a token draw: Free account, free chat, 50 free tokens hourly draw. The token draw is a small sample of what the paid side feels like, and the paid side stays optional. Nothing has to be bought to look around the directory.

How do I stop the account topping itself up?+

Auto-refill is the setting to watch. It can be switched off in Settings, and once it is off the balance simply runs down: No subscription; auto-refill opt out in Settings, no refunds. There is no subscription running in the background to cancel, so the remaining balance is the only commitment at any moment.

Can I get money back for tokens I have not used?+

Refunds are not part of the terms: No subscription; auto-refill opt out in Settings, no refunds. Because the currency is prepaid and paid in advance, per Prepaid virtual tokens, paid in advance, pay as you go, an unused balance stays on the account rather than being returned. Members who want a hard limit should keep packs small and leave auto-refill off.

Are performers checked before they go live?+

Models and uploaders go through an ID plus a selfie process with KYC checks: ID plus selfie for models and uploaders; KYC checks. That covers the performers who broadcast, the side the platform is built around: Adults 18+ live webcam performer platform. Verified profiles are marked separately, and the app appears in the feature set: app and verified profiles.

Is there an app for phones?+

The feature set lists an app alongside verified profiles: app and verified profiles. The same account carries the token balance and the free chat allowance, so moving between the app and the site version does not change what the account includes.

What happens to my personal data?+

The privacy policy is written around GDPR rules, states that data is never sold, and sets out transfer safeguards for the EEA: GDPR policy; data never sold; EEA transfer safeguards. The same policy names the operator as HE 349515, registered in Cyprus, so the entity behind an account is stated up front.

How do I reach support?+

Support runs on email, phone and help centre. Email, phone and a help centre are all listed, so a billing question about a token pack can go by email while an account problem can go by phone. The help centre holds the routine answers first.

Who is on Stripchat?+

The audience is set out as Adults 18+ live webcam performer platform. The catalogue is not narrowed to a single taste, since the mix covers casual, mature and lgbtq categories, though the format stays live video rather than text boards. Support for the performer side runs separately from member chat.
